Six pillars of podcast production

Every show is different, but every show needs these foundations. We tailor the depth of each service to your format, audience, and goals.

Concept and format design

Before you hit record, we work with you to define the show's identity: episode structure, segment cadence, intro and outro scripting, and audience persona mapping. A well-designed format keeps listeners subscribed past episode three.

Studio recording

Our three acoustically treated rooms accommodate solo narration, two-person dialogue, and panel conversations with up to five guests. We provide Neumann and Shure microphone setups with real-time monitoring and backup recording on separate channels.

Editing and sound design

We remove filler words, balance levels, reduce background noise, and weave in music beds and transitions. Each episode goes through a three-pass edit: structural, tonal, and technical — ensuring consistent quality from pilot to season finale.

Distribution and hosting

We submit your RSS feed to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music, and fifteen additional directories. We handle ID3 tagging, chapter markers, and transcript generation for accessibility and discoverability.

Guest coordination

Finding the right guest is only half the challenge. We manage outreach emails, scheduling across time zones, pre-interview briefings, and remote recording logistics using Riverside or Zencastr when in-studio sessions are not possible.

Analytics and growth strategy

Monthly reports break down downloads by episode, geography, and listening platform. We pair the data with actionable recommendations — from optimal release timing to cross-promotion partnerships — so your audience compounds over time.

From idea to earbuds in five stages

We have refined this workflow across hundreds of shows. Each stage has a clear deliverable and sign-off, so nothing moves forward until you are satisfied.

01

Discovery call

A 45-minute conversation where we learn about your niche, target listener, and long-term vision. We leave with a one-page creative brief that anchors every decision going forward.

02

Pilot episode

We produce a single episode together — from script outline through final master. This is your sandbox to test the format, hear the sound design, and refine your hosting style before committing to a season.

03

Season planning

We map out eight to twelve episodes, assign recording dates, line up guests, and prepare show notes templates. A shared calendar keeps every milestone visible.

04

Production sprints

Recording happens in focused batches — usually three or four episodes per studio day. This approach minimises scheduling overhead and keeps your energy and tone consistent across the season.

05

Launch and iterate

We coordinate a three-episode launch drop for maximum initial traction, then shift to a weekly cadence. After four episodes are live, we review analytics and adjust the strategy together.

Where conversations come alive

Located in the heart of Montréal, our space was designed from the ground up for spoken-word recording. Double-wall isolation, floating floors, and variable acoustic treatments let us shape the room to suit any voice.

Before you press record

Pricing depends on episode length, frequency, and the level of post-production involved. A typical ten-episode season with full editing, sound design, and distribution support starts around $4,500 CAD. We provide a detailed quote after the discovery call so there are no surprises.

Absolutely. We support remote recording through Riverside and Zencastr, which capture each participant on a separate high-quality track. We also ship portable mic kits within Canada if your setup needs an upgrade.

Yes. You own one hundred percent of the content, the RSS feed, and the brand assets. If you ever decide to move to another production partner, we hand over all source files and transfer the hosting account within five business days.

From raw recording to final master, most episodes are delivered within four business days. Rush delivery within 48 hours is available for an additional fee. We always build buffer into the production calendar to accommodate guest rescheduling or last-minute changes.

We advise on sponsorship strategy, dynamic ad insertion, and premium subscriber models. While we are not an ad sales agency, we connect clients with networks like Acast and AdvertiseCast once their download numbers reach the threshold those platforms require.

Many of our clients are first-time hosts. We offer a one-on-one coaching session covering microphone technique, pacing, interview skills, and managing nervousness. The pilot episode serves as a low-pressure rehearsal before the season begins in earnest.
